I have some weird problem with this release.
All is OK, but when I leave phone for more then 1 min. phone automatically turns off, not only display but is in OFF state, and then I must press YES+NO (for JetDroid) or No(for Samsung OS).
What to do about this ?

Thank you in advance.

Maybe the battery is low and the phone is switched off?

OK - finally got my install problem fixed (the easy install script didn't copy the kernel image - doh, how did I miss that).

Anyhoo, I have exactly the same problem re powering off now. This is with a fully charged battery, but leave it alone and it powers down.

I also have this from time to time. I think we need to look into the logs and see if we can find any reason why this happens. Seems like something wrong is happening in standby mode.
Cheers,

What exactly happens after this? Does your phone vibrate? Which Jet model do you own?

It does support video playback for few of the format. But I would recommend not to play them since we don't have the proper driver for it. Without the proper drivers if you play videos your battery can go down from 100% to 0% in couple of minutes. I have observed this problem recently.
In any case if you want to play videos, install Rockplayer from android market and play them in "Software Decoding" mode. The playback won't be good but it won't eat up your battery.

Did you just turned it ON and left aside before it powers down or did you run any application on it before leaving it alone? Can you tell me approx. after how much time it powered down? These informations will help us to understand the problem.

Phone switches off after vibration.

Can you try this kernel image and let me know if you see any debug text on your phone's screen before it shuts down?

Hi Carlos,
Yes the kernel is newer than 2.6.29. It's infact 3.0.8 version :).

Ok, Good then it have to work with ICS because on my Nexus I have right now ICS 4.0.1 and kernel is 3.0.1, soon I update it to 4.0.2!

So Spica CM9 should work on JetDroid?

Chegl tested my CM9 spica port and he said that it stack to starting kernel!

and that ROM port is using JetPlatform (latest) zImage!

I had problems with battery on my Galaxy Nexus so I changed ROM and baseband Radio + boot laoder now all is fine!

can JetDroid use Baseband radio? :D
