U-Boot for JetDroid? (upd. not working)

Postby Carlos_Manuel » Fri Mar 30, 2012 1:03 pm

So I removed all texts from here and the u-boot files are in deprecated downloads section in code.google!

I'm waiting new updates for JetDroid and I am not here developing anymore (I think so) until I understand the java scripts and other developing stuff..

This won't work for Jet.
If you wan't to boot from SD card then you might need to do some hardware tweaks.

Apart from original booatloader which comes with Samsung firmwares and bootloader created by Dopi, do not try to flash any other bootloader. Most probably Multiloader won't allow it to be flashed and if it does, for sure your Jet is bricked.

I believe we don't need to do anything in bootloader to make JetDroid better. Whatever is needed is already done by Dopi. We just need to work on Kernel and Android platform to have a better JetDroid.

OK! Thank You!
Do you know how I can unpack and repack .mbn file?
I don't care if I brick my Jet because I don't really use it and usually there are the way to fix it if download mode works then. :)

Could this work if this is in .mbn file as like JetQi :?:

You cannot edit the mbn file this way. You need to modify the code for it in either C programming or assembly programming. Then compile and build the mbn file.
But again what are you trying to achieve by modifying the booatloader. The purpose of bootloder is just to load the main Operating System (either default Jet OS or Android) and start it. These things are already done properly by Dopi :)
