Anyone tried this one? ...maybe we don't need JetDroid anymore?! (hahaha!)

But serious... I'm curious what this release is ment for, because I assumed they wouldn't release anything new for the Jet anymore.

Best regards - Thijs

I downloaded and installed it... it's (for what I've seen) the same as the S800MCEJ1, that came out in March 2010. So it contains easy Java, icon rearrangement and it is a Benelux version.
So no big changes :(
The file is so big, because the whole installation pack for route66 is in it and some files that belong to it.
I was hoping to find something changed or a little bit more special :(.

Vincet

That explains. I presume that this is a legit version and the route 66 package only works after registering?

Maybe Route66 was fixed in this release. My previous experience with this software was that it contains many bugs ...

Does it support menu icons re-arranging? Anyone think it is just a little faster or smoother?

Yes it supports Icon Rearrangement, but I don't think it runs any smoother...
So It's just an re-release of an existing release, but with some bug-fixes for route66...

Did you flash this one? Does it work with our JetQi bootloader?

I flashed it and the bootloader works flawlessly (no problems to report ;))
Everything seems to work like it should work...

Thanks for your information. It is good to know that the bootloader still does it's job for this FW. Looks like just the DX version for China needs to be fixed.
