How to build ROM From Source guide

Postby Carlos_Manuel » Wed Mar 28, 2012 5:03 pm

How to build ROM From Source: http://www.rodneybeede.com/How_to_build ... ource.html <--- Here is good guide but I need help!

I stack to the "Compiling" point.!..

Code: Select all
Compiling

cd ~/ANDROID_WORKING_DIRECTORY
source build/envsetup.sh
lunch full-eng
For building emulator rom, see Android source site
make -j8
Running

This is for running on an emulator. See later sections for other devices.
make -j8 sdk
Copy the system.img, ramdisk.img, and userdata.img files in ~/ANDROID_WORKING_DIRECTORY/out/target/product/generic to a machine with a GUI and the Android SDK installed
On the machine with the Android SDK run the emulator with
android-sdk-windows\tools\emulator -system system.img -ramdisk ramdisk.img -data userdata.img
Update the paths accordingly
Optionally if the machine you are building on has a GUI you can just run "emulator" and by default it will load the latest build images for you

<--- I stack to that place!!!

How I can build ROM? What I need to do! anybody can help? :D
