When I shut it down in Android mode and start it up in the normal way and shut it down again the battery is good the next day.
When I shut it down in Android mode and connect it to the loader I get no response. It's not charging.

Are there more people with the same problem??

Hi Idoz1, unfortunatly the problem with battery draining is known. Also the charger is not yet properly detected but it should still be charging (slowly).

Cheers,

I have problems getting started. I copied the jetdroid easy instal tgz file to my phone. And tried to extract. Not supported file. So I extracted the tgz files in windows and copied them to the phone into a install map. Also the easy install file is a not supported file within samsung OS.

Do I need to work with ubunto and virtual box to copy the files to the phone? Doing the unstructed actions?

Copy the archive to your /meda/Android partition
Unpack the archive
Execute the install script with
Code: Selecteer alles
sudo bash install/JetDroid-easy-install.shFollow the instructions on screen and answer the questions with y (yes) and n (no)

And ifso I need to use virtualbox, with version do in need to download and instal running a windows xp 32 bit??

Hi,

Which card do you have (manufacturer, class, type)?
For Jetdroid to work we need an SDHC card with second partition as ext3. Its partition size should be less than 2GB.
Have a look at the below tutorial and make sure you have followed the steps correctly.

Hi, i have to ask you some probably dumdb questions. Guess I am doing something badly,
Only thing that easy install script do for me is download of that 0,5pre1 archive and then it shuts down. Same for GApps script. I dont have any other instructions in terminal. So I just extracted these archives and then tried type sudo chmod -R 777" in terminal and it doesn´t work. (Also i don´t have any idea what´s that for)
Anyone can help me?

I don't know about the script because I have not used it so try this:
Install Gparted and then open Gparted and create EXT2 or EXT3 partition (1,5GB) to Micro SD HC card and save.
open terminal and type:
sudo nautilus

If you see text ofamba sharing network error then open JetDroid EXT2/3 partition and close terminal and open terminal again!

Go to JetDroid Jetplatfrom 0.5pre1 directory or open the package and move folders: system, sbin and files: init*.rc, ueventd*.rc and zimage to EXT2/3 partition then copy the address of EXT2/3 and in terminal type sudo chmod -R 777 '/YOUR-JetDroid/EXT2-partition/'
and then boot to JetDroid mode

Then add Gapps manually from the package!

Hello,
how can I install this Version?
I have done steps A-D from here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=18
I can't find the right "platform files (binary release) , zImage, and qwerty.kl"

There is an other way mentioned here: viewtopic.php?f=60&t=2243
/meda/Android? So i have to make files in my partition?
/meda/Android/install/JetDroid-easy-install.sh would be the conmplete path?
