I think we can, you just have to install CyanogenMod in your phone and you will have 100% android 8-)

Yeah I know, xda-developers work on many mobile phone models, like Galaxy S, Htc Desire, Nexus S,... It's very common that Google release a new Android version, and after a month more or less Cyanogen mod is available for many Android devices 8-)

The Android native stuff = have a look at Jet-Froyo as it ends up being generic android as run on the SDK + our kernel + init scripts and some modules and works fine, same with Jet-GingerBread.

It would be nice to only use the native Android + add our tweaks as this allows for more compatibility with default android apps and saves a lot of time on possible error that might not be real errors or only compiled to custom errors. You get the idea.

Once we know what is good and bad we can do a full custom build + optimize it extremely well and then have a generic android base to compare too.

Touchwiz would be nice if it is some form of linux and we can access the running part to get info and make our running parts work better. I have read somewhere that it is some form of android with lots of bloatware. I did not have time to look into this properly.

Now just to find a way to access and implement the data we get from touchwiz into Jet-Droid.

Which version did you build? There may be lots of warnings in the kernel build. I usually ignore them.

Cheers,
