Posted two emails to opensource.samsung.com requesting the source for Samsung Jet. I doubt that we will get anything, but it is all I could do.

Let's see what will be the reply. ;)
Everyday we try to make Samsung Jet and JetDroid better!

Good news everyone!!!
;) Week passed and we got a reply from Samsung !

"First, I'd like to apologize for not being able to support the driver source codes.
GT-S8000 was developed under the different kernel from android (which is linux-based), and the knowledge of developers are different from what you need. Supporting your request requires setup of a team to develop a whole new android smartphone, which is not easy.

If you can debug your problems and identify what exact causes are, then I might try to get the technical information on those. However, this still is not guaranteed. Sometimes the developers are not reachable due to their working on urgent projects or their absency. Sometimes your information request may belong to other companies' intellectual properties. However, if you make your needs more specific, I guarantee you that I will do whatever I can try, to help you.

Best regards,

You may find the source code"

That's what I got from Samsung. Let's make the requests specific.... and it makes me wonder about the last line --- (You may find the source code) --- it is like it is there, but we have not found it yet.... :D

Good!! :)
for this: source code and other like that needs MadRocker, Dopi, or someone else JetDroid developer who knows much more about that... :) (I don't know really much... :$ )
