Hello,

I had this answer today....

I'm sorry that I have to say the support for drivers is not possible.
GT-S8000 was developed under the different kernel from android (which is linux-based), and the knowledge of developers are different from what you need.

If you can debug your problems and identify what exact causes are, then I might try to get the technical information on those. However, this still is not guaranteed, because sometimes the developers are not reachable due to their working on urgent projects or their absency, or because your information request may belong to other companies' intellectual properties.

Best regards,

You may find the source code

Maybe Source code is somewhere, but they can't tell !
Anyway, the more we ask, the more chance we can get to have something....

Peeps...

Dude almost the same reply...

But post is not about it. We have to be at least this determined (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSedc1w6 ... re=related) to get JetDroid done in 2011 --- and 2011 not 2012.

A week passed since I last emailed Samsung, and then 3 days passed since I emailed Samsung again with the specs of our project. What is happening? I still hope that they will reply somehow. ;)

Their answer:

Dear JetDroid,

I apologize for the delay. I just came back from Biz trip.

I wish I can deliver a good news to you,
but your request is given about very critical portion of our development.
I need to keep checking with the developers, but my previous experience says your both requests are the information that we can't share.

The reason is datasheet contains both Samsung Know-How and Maxim's Kknow-How and they're protected from 3rd party. Getting the approval requires high-level officers' approval from both, which takes too long and hard to be possible.

The communication between AP and CP in Samsung phones are standardized, so sharing of one model means it's open for all phones.

I hope you to understand my explanation, and hope you to find it yourself or from collaboration with other Jetroid members.

I'll make a note on your requests and if there's any change in our policy, I'll keep you noted.

If I find the changes in our

You may find the source code

----- sad :)
