zImage = Hardware same as Beta1 for this kernel only speed improve test.

Jose_Paramore wrote:MadRocker, it's the same with this Zimage, isn't it?

Same not sure what you are saying.
PID = init.rc if you use default init.rc from sdk or beta1 then there is no PID issues on mine.
Did you use the beta1 default init.rc 13.5kb Sat 08jan 2011 02:03:52 PM MST
" gmt-7, 9pm UK time"

If you extract wifi working the init.rc replaces (sdk / beta1) default init.rc and this = pid error.

sploutch
Language is only en_US in kernel maybe we need to add other languages in kernel, pid = this SDK = en_US + JP nothing else so this could be normal.
Check folder system/tts/lang_pico for "fr-FR_nk0_sg.bin" if there then check android website for language problem.

24 Jan 2011 Updated 1st post for developers.

24Jan2011-Jet-2.3.2.tar.gz.tar.gz LOL file name.

Code: Select all
File name: 24Jan2011-Jet-2.3.2.tar.gz.tar.gz
File description: Jet-Ginger-2.3.2_r1
File size: 69.08 MB
This is clean empty built for developers. Not tested so have fun.

Normal updates to system/build.prop, init.rc, data/local.prop WIP (Work In Progress).

RTC kernel:
Did not test the new 2.6.29 RTC working zImage with this build. Seems to work fine in Froyo. Normal 1sec in phone = 1sec in reality.
.config used to build this kernel, needs some changes to make the modules. Phone is set to performance only speed (minm/max 800mhz).

Wow i noticed that I got less "lags" with that. it seems that my system runs much more smoother with your kernel than with the 0.3pre3 one.
Thanks ;)

EDIT: Im also using Eclair (2.1)

LOL glad to help.

l3w1n The Jet-Ginger Beta1 is good for normal users for now, I will try to keep adding fixes as I can or find them.
Anyone can use these files and play with them, ask question, google search, add fixes no problem all help is good.

The kernel config .config file is in the rtc kernel zip file or should be if not shout and I can upload it. It still needs a lot of work both Ginger and the kernel.
