We've already seen the Motorola XOOM tablet in action already, sporting a dual core processor clocking at 1 GHz for each core, a 10.1-inch widescreen HD display with a native resolution of 1280 x 800, HDMI output, 1080p HD video playback, a front-facing 2MP camera and a rear-facing 5MP camera with 720p HD video capture. There's also a built-in gyroscope, barometer, e-compass, accelerometer and adaptive lighting for new types of applications. It also has the hardware for mobile hotspot broadcasting capabilities, however that will likely cost Verizon users an extra monthly fee for the feature.

Here, we gonna to talk about the media experience of Blu-ray playback on Motorola XOOM tablet since it supports 1080P HD video playback. First, we need to rip Blu-ray to XOOM and convert Blu-ray movies to XOOM supported video formats.

... interesting guide. Just that the tool is not what I would call free software. I am sure you could do the same with e.g Handbrake.

Yes, I think it is, but it is far away from the spam we had recently. This brings us directly to the question if we want to disapprove postings like this one. I think it is difficult to draw a line between the spam and topics like this.

However the idea to have guide like this one is not a bad one.

On one hand, it is a guide, and it is probably posted here because we are an 'android' type forum. So if it is automatic, which it looks like it is, then it might be spam of the non-reccurring, unobtrusive type.

That doesn't make it helpful to us though!

It is interesting indeed. I think when a guide like this is posted, first a mod should test it, as far as possible for him/her. If the guide doesn't work, or has some payment needed, than delete it.

On the other hand, he say's free to DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL not to use. So he isn't lying at all...
The jet will take-off to meet the android people! :)

I say bin the entire topic, its nothing to do with JetDroid & nothing new to the world of DVD ripping.
which as pointed out earlier is illegal, probably even if you are only doing it to watch a movie you allready own on a portable device.
