Thanks for your quick assistance. Leaving the old files alone instead of deleting them did resolve my problem.

Kiddikai, you might need to chmod the files / folders.

See the link below 1.5gb method and then just use the new / latest platform files from the link.

My Jet cannot obtain IP address while connecting to mine wi-fi router.
Just text "Obtaining IP address from dlink...", and after that "Unsuccessful".
Meanwhile in router:
Code: Select all
Apr 6 13:51:32    DHCP: Server receive REQUEST from 00:26:e8:14:a6:57.
Apr 6 13:51:32    DHCP: Server sending OFFER of 192.168.0.103.
Apr 6 13:51:32    DHCP: Server receive DISCOVER from 00:26:e8:14:a6:57.
Apr 6 13:51:31    DHCP: Server sending ACK to 192.168.0.103. (Lease time = 604800)
Apr 6 13:51:31    DHCP: Server receive REQUEST from 00:26:e8:14:a6:57.
Apr 6 13:51:31    DHCP: Server sending ACK to 192.168.0.103. (Lease time = 604800)
Apr 6 13:51:31    DHCP: Server receive REQUEST from 00:26:e8:14:a6:57.

Everything works if set address manually, but it's not solution, there are many other AP's which I want to use.
Sorry for bad english

Is it only with that modem/AP? If yes, please check compatability with android for that modem/AP. If no, then it is most likely on the phone side.
The jet will take-off to meet the android people! :)

I don't know about other routers. Samsung OS works fine with it, Samsung Monte, too, also Motorolla MotoZine, and 3 notebooks. Problem only with JetDroid.
D-link dir-320. WPA2-PSK TKIP, Mac Filtering.

See this for Wifi-problems: http://searchnetworking.techtarget.com. ... i-problems

I couldn't fix my connections problems yet, but it seems to have something to do with the Wlan standard the router uses.
If i use 801.11b or 801.11g or a mix of those with the 801.11n standard it gives me an "unsuccessful"-error.
When using only the 801.11n standard it gves me "Disconnected". That's no the solution, though. But it's an anomaly and anomalies tell us things...
Now who can read this anomaly and tell the world, what it tries to tell me?

Hi Hunter.

I have the same issues with some pc's and a router that has 802.11N especially when "frame burst" and the express or turbo mode that extends 54mb/s 802.11g to 108mb/s.
When I disable all 3 of these in the router and only have default 802.11b or 802.11g or 802.11b+g then it works fine for both pc's and JetDroid.

If it is 802.11N part that as far as I know has some issues with some of the broadcom drivers, same thing happens with dd-wrt.com router firmware, 802.11N and broadcom in linux is not too happy.

You might want to in the wifi router disable 802.11N as well as "frame burst" and "eXpress / afterburner" and then try again.

If this does not work then I can upload a clone of my phone from the this last release that works with 802.11b+g and WPA and you can try it as well, disk mount is not active in this last testing version = only for testing that I can upload.

Let me know how far you made progress on this. Once we can establish the specific problem if 802.11N then I / we developers can find a better drivers and fix this problem if available.

Hey Madrocker
For now i can connect to my Wlan using a fixed IP. Since I am only using this AP, this is not an urgent problem for me. It should be resolved until JetDroid is released to the crowds, though.
Thanks for your help anyway :)

Hello Jetdroid members!!!
I follow you from the beginning of this project...
Last days I admit there is some inactvity in this topic so I would like to ask the Devs if there is a new release that they are working for this period ;) ...

P.S About the testing all goes perfect expect from the keyboard when it goes to landscape...It lags a lot and sometimes reboots after that (I have not installed Gapps)...

Keep up the good work!!!
