It actually has a Dual Core 1.2GHz Processor.
It originally had a 1GHz one but they held back the release and changed it to a 1.2GHz one.

Dual-core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 proccessor, Mali-400MP GPU, Exynos chipset

You're right on this. However the post above is just an advertisement to click on his link to buy the phone, he should prob just be banned to stop more spam :D

P.S They're bringing out a white SGS2, looks pretty nice!

You're right, I didn't notice that.
Also, since when was the list price £751.54?

A white Galaxy S ii is nice...

I've seen this mobile in exhibition, this S2 is like a toy a dummy model it has no stylish look nor a business, i know it is light weight but it a major disadvantage it's like you're having a cheap gadget in your hands. So, i prefer not to buy it. All the android phones are same no any difference in Samsung or htc, you can go for any device you like, the difference is the design.

I have this phone on my desk (standard black), live with it day to day. Build quality is excellent, and it performs beautifully.

Hello people

I have been wondering....
I have this S2 now but when fire it up, its showing the operators LOGO.
Same thing i had few years ago when i got the JET.
The JET i flashed with help of all you pple here, so i wanted to do the same thing with the S2
I mean: I like to flash the S2 to the latest non-provider altered software.
Anyone can give me some help?

Thnx !

The boot splash logo should be in boot.img or in Kernel as logo.jpg or in the .bin file, it depends of the phone..
Operator logo Screen is usually on some devices stock ROMs and it is maybe in boot.img /data/ folder or /sbin/ folder or I don't know..

To change or to add boot splash logo or operator logo you should be able to download the logo which is flashable via CWM/ODIN.

by unpacking the boot.img you can try to find the operator logo file and to delete that and then the texts from init*.rc
