Hey, I tried installing this but I ran into a few problems.
The first time I instgalled it it loaded up like it should. It was really laggy and I couldn't get through the setup. I then decided to turn the phone off. After doing so I deleted everything in the jetdroid partition and reextracted. Now it just shows a black screen when I try to execute it . ANy idea? (It does give a small shake when starting up though)

Delete also hidden folder Trash.##

Move all files from the package to the JétDroid partition then save via terminal and boot JétDroid..

The Lag on the Google Setupwizard is normal, let it to smooth some seconds and then press the android logo.. Also the speed depends of the SD card

I edited android_device_samsung_spica, android_vendor_cyanogenMod and Android repositories for Jét which are based of Tom3q's spica repositories..

Now I am trying to build CM7 for Jét,If everything goes well then we have newer version of CM7 on Jét with working FM radio... Also maybe with newer kernel, 3.0.3x kernel.

Having any issues when building? (related to .../*/kernel)
1. go to /YOUR-WORKING-DIR/device/samsung/jet/
2. Delete kernel.bin and delete .gitgnore

still can't build?
1. Go to /YOUR-WORKING-DIR/out/target/product/jet/
2. Create folder and rename it to kernel
3. Add kernel.bin from android_device_samsung_jet to /YOUR-WORKING-DIR/out/target/product/jet/ and then to kernel folder too


Sorry I'm noob with the building things...
I get a lot of errors of "no rule to make".... things, those can be fixed by addind the *.so file from Jét's ROM to the right destination.

my CM7 works, I had to fix some errors while compiling it...
Still maybe no FM radio support because it's using the older CM7 kernel 3.0.8
It's 5:08 AM here, I may have to go sleep now!!!

Hey all!

This is my built CM 7.1 (GWK74) from sources with my modified source files which are based of Tom3q's CM7 Spica repositories...
This ROM still has MDPI system apps, I didn't have time to change mdpi to hdpi from the files... I gonna build CM9 so I'm not using CM7 on Jét.

Deodexed version may not come, I was not able to connect WiFi on the deodexed version, I don't know why!

What works:
- All the same as in JetDroid Gingerbread testing (0.5pre1)
- Standby should work
- Sounds (Thanks to KB_JetDroid for he's audio patch's zImage.)
- You tell me!

What is not working:
- FM Radio, may need newer kernel with FM radio support?
- All the same as in JetDroid Gingerbread testing (0.5pre1) should not work

When I have more time then I'll try to build newer version and hopefully also newer version of the kernel.

You guys like transparent status bar?
I try to make it transparent, because I made it transparent for my Nexus's ROM 'Dreams'.

Next version also includes fixes and Estonian language.

Updating this will take time because I update my Nexus's ROM sources every day and also for Nexus 4 and I have to edit many files myself to get the latest changes and fixes.

Newer version of this ROM won't have newer kernel because I get some strange errors when I try to compile it. Also I have to update some files and I try to update audio files too.

Unfortunately I can't add Estonian language into this ROM because Gingerbread repositories doesn't have Estonian language strings.

First I'll just build an update, later I add the transparent mod..
