No, not yet.

The dev team is working on it, but it doesn't have any release date.

Have patience!

I got all excited when I found the JetDroid project.
Been using the Jet for a few weeks and a bit "underwhelmed" by it.
I was looking to change it for an Android handset and stumbled on this site.

Is the ability to make and recieve calls/text likely to be in the next month or 2?
I understand the complexities and the limited resources so don't take this as impatience.
Just wondering if I should change handsets or stick with this one and use jetdroid.

No one can say for sure, but I'd say it is unlikely. If it is a deal breaker for you then have a look for a cheap android handset.

If you really want an android phone and still have the ability to return it, personally I'd swap it. As there is no 'definate' on what will be accomplished with this project.
